Pro Bono Scheme in the Commercial Court and London Circuit Commercial Court
We are delighted to announce that Pro Bono Connect is supporting the Pro Bono Scheme in the Commercial Court and London Circuit Commercial Court, run by Advocate and Combar.
Under the expanded scheme, litigants in person who have a hearing or trial of up to 1 week in either the Commercial Court or the London Circuit Commercial Court will be able to request assistance from a barrister through Advocate (subject to means testing and a merits review).
The barrister in turn will be able to seek solicitor assistance through Pro Bono Connect. We require at least 4 weeks’ notice to try to locate a solicitor to take on the case, in conjunction with the requesting barrister.
Litigants in Person should check through the explanatory note on the scheme for for further details.
