Pro Bono Connect Engagement Recognition Award

We are delighted to introduce the Pro Bono Connect Engagement Recognition Award to celebrate the commitment of our member firms and chambers to the Pro Bono Connect scheme and our clients. It is a way of rewarding our most engaged members and encourage all our firms and chambers to support the scheme by taking on more cases.

What is the Pro Bono Connect Engagement Recognition Award?

We will offer three tiers of engagement recognition to members based on either the number of cases they take on in a calendar year or the hours spent on Pro Bono Connect work. Recognition can be at bronze, silver or gold level with an achievement mark available for members to use on their websites or social media and their internal and external communications.

Eligibility

The current criteria (which will be kept under review) are:

  • Bronze: Accepting 2 cases or more during the year or 150 hours of work
  • Silver: Accepting 3 cases or more during the year or 300 hours of work
  • Gold: Accepting 4 cases or more during the year or 500 hours of work.

How to apply

Recognition marks will be awarded at two points in the year to reflect engagement during that year.  This is mid June and 1 December.  Recognition for cases accepted will be awarded automatically.  If you wish to apply for recognition based on hours of work, please complete the application form and submit it by either 10 June or 1 December 2025 for a 2025 award.

Promotion

We will announce details of recognition awards on our social media and website.  Bronze, sliver and gold firms will be identifiable on the website, which will be updated for each new round of awards.
